Tricked would like to confirm some
shake-ups to our Counter-Strike roster. Many fans may have noticed
different constellations in the Legend Series, so it probably comes
with little surprise that changes were on the way. Now that
Copenhagen Games is behind us, it's time to reveal our future plans
for our Counter-Strike team.
Morten 'Phy' Jensen reflects on the previous lineup's performances and the reason why we have chosen to split up the core.
"We had high hopes and dreams after we signed the former Singularity team but things did not go the way we wanted them to, so we tried a lot of different approaches but it seemed that the team had problems performing under the pressure of Tricked's expectations, as if they had reached their top performance at Copenhagen Games 2017. We had many minor event victories which we are extremely happy about, especially our victory at GGW #23, but even with the minor victories we still fell short of our Goals. Allan 'Rejin' Petersen and I had a lot of talks about what other approaches we had not tested yet and we came to the conclusion that the only way to move forward was to split up the core from Singularity. That, unfortunately, falls on Peter 'Inzta' Kragelund and Mads 'Console' Skovby who will be joining Thomas 'Ryxxo' Nielsen on the bench for now. We have already gotten multiple offers regarding some of the benched players and we will be working closely with People in Sport to help our players move to new teams. I know everyone here at Tricked would like to thank Peter, Mads, and Thomas for their constant dedication and motivation during the time with us and we wish them the best going forwards."
We are trying out some different
opportunities regarding the last two positions in the team and
hopefully we will be revealing the new faces soon!
Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook over the coming months for updates and news about the team.
